Wow! This story completely blew me away! I’m seriously at a loss for words right now I can’t even begin to explain how good this was!

Ok so a quick recap: Aimee has finished work early and decided to go meet with her fiancée/best friend since childhood, Chris, earlier than originally planned. What she wasn’t planning on was the turbulence that caused her and Tristan, Chris’s pilot, to crash land in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. She also was not counting on feeling the way she felt. The time the two are forced to spend together creates a bond stronger than any they’ve ever felt before and they can’t deny the feelings they have.

Tristan is a very capable pilot and doesn’t think twice when Aimee asks him to change his flight plans and agrees to take her to Brazil sooner. The crash landing forces him to face fears he never thought he’d be able to face and he finds his own heaven in the middle of nowhere.

Withering Hope takes you on a journey of discovery and will keep you glued to the pages. A heartwarming and gut wrenching love story that is beautifully written. A MUST read!!

From the first page until the very end, I couldn’t put this book down. The Consequences of Sin is so different from anything else that K.A. Robinson has written, and it’s absolutely amazing.

Bree and Wes are best friends, and have been together since birth. They do everything together: school lessons, train, and fight. They just happen to be mafia children and trained assassins, so they also kill together. Bree is tired of the life, and feels a part of herself dying with each life that she takes. Wes will do anything for her, even make arrangements for her to move to another country so she can get the life that she deserves. They both know that once she leaves, they will never see each or talk to each other ever again. Knowing this, Wes confesses to Bree that he’s in love with her and has been for quite some time.

Bree is given a chance to start over and leave her old life behind, and she looks forward to what her new future may hold. She misses Wes fiercely, but soon finds friendship with her hot new roommate Reid. Reid is laid-back, carefree, sweet, and caring. Even though they have a few things in common, Bree knows that she can never fully open up to him about her past. She hates keeping things from him, but doesn’t want to reveal the darkness of her life before she met him.

As Bree and Reid get closer, the attraction that she feels for him continues to get stronger, and she soon realizes that he attracted to her as well. They decide that a relationship is worth pursuing. Things seem to be going well until Bree’s past catches up with her and threatens to destroy not only her future, but Reid’s as well. When she unexpectedly comes face to face with Wes again, she doesn’t see the eyes of the man who helped her escape. They are now cold when they look at her, and she instantly feels that he betrayed her. But things aren’t always as they seem.

K.A. Robinson does an amazing job of keeping you in suspense in this book, and has you wondering did Wes betray Bree? If given a choice, will she choose to be with Reid or Wes? A definite must-read.  5 stars.
