Review:

I absolutely loved this book. It was packed full of emotion – it had me swooning, laughing, crying, and blushing. You can’t help but to be pulled in from the first page and stay glued until the very end.

Evan is determined to gain some normalcy in his life for his son Lyon and himself after the unexpected loss of his wife, Rae. In order to do that, he leaves the only home his son has ever known, and moves to Evergreen Cove, a small town where he spent his summers growing up. Evan is looking forward to a new beginning, and knows that he will have help from Charlotte, his late wife’s best friend.

Charlotte took on the role as Lyon’s aunt when he was born, and is looking forward to him living two houses down, only wishing it was under different circumstances. Still grieving the loss of her best friend, who was more like a sister to her, she is determined to help look after Rae’s boys the way she feels she would want her to. What Charlotte doesn’t expect when Evan and Lyon move back is for the hidden feelings that she had for Evan growing up to come to the surface when she sees him.

Charlotte harbors a lot of guilt over the feelings that she has for Evan; he’s ready to move on with his life and find love again. Can Charlotte overcome the guilt and deal with the grief of losing Rae? Or will she allow the guilt and doubt to keep her from finding true love?

Bringing Home the Bad Boy is an incredible story of loss, friendship, healing, and love. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.  5 well-deserved stars.
