About THE SCIENCE OF ATTRACTION:
Kate Ramsey is at the top of her game.
She’s the hot new recruit at the most prestigious research institute in Germany, and she’s determined to live up to the hype — even if it means working day and night. Stress relief comes in the form of a no-nonsense affair with her neighbor, who also happens to be the director of the institute. Who says sex should be anything more than a contract between two people who have other things on their mind?
So when Tom Baker saunters into her life, Kate is understandably upset to see this well-oiled machine splutter and seize. Tom is young and smart, and far too pretty for his own good. Kate can’t help but be drawn to him, even if giving in to the attraction would mean risking everything she’s worked for.
Who knew science was so damn sexy?! I mean to me, science is the horrible drudgery that you had to snooze through in school. If my science teacher was as hot as Tom Baker, I may have passed. 😉
So we have Tom and Kate, two scientists that have the hots for each other and have to deny their instincts. So yeah that lasts for like 2.5 seconds!! They have instant chemistry that made me want to drag Tom off to a corner….
Ahem! Anyway… After they finally give into their attraction to each other they start to fall into mutal affection which then turns into one ooey-gooey love affair. All rainbows and roses right? Wrong!
Enter the evil being Rob, the boss of the science institute where Kate and Tom work. Not to mention that he was the one shacking up with Kate in the beginning. *** THIS IS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE*** Oh yes, Rob! The dastardly nasty of the book- seriously though this guy is one grade A Jerkface!! I’m so glad with how the author wrote his demise!
In the end Kate and Tom do get their rainbows and roses or more appropriately their lab and cells!
I’m looking forward to Ms. Jacobs next book featuring another nerdy lab lady.
