Be spontaneous, they say.
That’s how I ended up on the back of a stranger’s bike.
A sexy, tall, tattooed stranger, but a stranger nonetheless.
How was I to know that a chance meeting with this man, Xander Kane, was going to change my life?

As with every other book in this series, I devoured Time Will Tell in one sitting. We know from the other books that Xander is a sweet, carefree guy who likes to have fun, and loves with his whole heart. This book gives us another side to him. Xander goes into this book broken after the loss of his father, who was his hero. To escape the memories and pain for a while, he goes away for a while to visit Zach, his childhood friend.

Trillian is a sweetheart, who is dealing with the loss of her father as well. Her mother left when she was a child, so she’s now on her own. Not wanting to leave the memories of her father, she decides to stay in the home that they shared, but she’s not really alone. Trillian’s best friend and neighbor Zach and his dad have always looked out for her, and step up more after the passing of her father. She knows that Zach has a friend coming to visit, but doesn’t realize at first that he’s the sexy stranger that she meets in a bar.

Things start out a little rocky after their initial meeting, but they can’t deny the attraction that they feel for one another. Soon a friendship begins to form, and even though Xander will only be there a couple of weeks, they decide to spend their time together to see where things may go. Their time together ends much quicker than they would like when a tragedy causes Xander to have to return home.

Distance, time apart, Xander’s past, and trust issues all come into play, and create problems for Xander and Trillian. Their relationship is so young to face so many obstacles, but they learn to face them all together. Time Will Tell is a must-read. 5 stars.
