This was such a cute short story. We have Sasha, a famous author, who has no trouble pouring out her heart and emotions into her characters; however, she finds that this is something that she can’t do for herself when it comes to talking to people face-to-face she is basically a self-proclaimed recluse. With encouragement from her mother, she sent up an on-line dating profile. One night, she decided to go through the messages she received to see if any caught her attention. Surprisingly, she finds herself drawn to one particular man, Woody, and they talk for several hours. Thinking back over it the next day, Sasha’s walls come back up, and she resigns herself to delete her messages and forget about Woody. What she doesn’t expect are several messages, one of which touches her on a deeper level, and an invitation to meet for dinner. Can Sasha come out of her shell to see if there is more there? Or is she so withdrawn that the chance at love will pass her by? A very cute, enjoyable, short read.
Insatiable Hunger by Jade C. Jamison
This novella gives us the story of Kathryn, a divorced mom, who is in the prime of her life, and a self-proclaimed cougar who is always hungry and on the prowl. Her favorite place to stalk her prey is at her local supermarket, where a couple of her crushes work. She finds herself there one evening after leaving the gym, and one of them in particular, Josh, caught her eye. Being the bold, self-confident woman that she is, Kathryn asks Josh to help her with her groceries (her 1 bag). She offers him a tip, which he says he can’t accept, so she then makes him an offer that she hopes he doesn’t refuse. Will Josh realize that he is cougar prey and not give into Kathryn’s advances? Or is he okay being “hunted”? This is a very cute, short read.
Will You Be My Valentine? by Jade C. Jamison

With the location of her interview being ten blocks away, she begins to panic a little knowing that she’s going to be late, which she feels will cost her the job. As she begins walking, she notices a cab up ahead that she rushes over to, only to discover that a man in trying to get into the same cab. As luck would have it, they were headed to the same place and decide to share. As Ally finally settles down, she realizes that she knows the man, Eric, that she is sharing the cab with, and he remembers her as well. As awkward silence settles over them, she realizes that she needs to clear the air from something that happened in high school. After they each apologize, Ally is surprised to learn that Eric returned the crush that she had on him back then. They decide to have lunch after her interview, where she spills food on her clothes. Eric offers to let her go back to his house to clean up, considering she has a long drive back home, and she agrees. *** UPDATE BY AUTHOR…I have some EXCITING news. I decided to write a new novel under the pen name, K.A. Hunter (will add links when they become available). I’m not hiding behind the name but this novel, and others that will follow, is more raw and definitely grittier than my Intertwined Hearts series. The first 4 chapters have been written into a short story that will appear in an anthology in February 2015 and I anticipate publishing the full novel around July 2015. Those that have read it confirm that it’s nothing like what I’ve written before and they were blown away. Can’t even tell you how happy that makes me 😀
Insatiable Hunger & Will You Be My Valentine (Two Stories) by Jade C. Jamison
For years, Jade C. Jamison tried really hard to write what she thought was more “literary” fiction, but she found herself compelled to write what you read by her today–sometimes gritty, raw, realistic stories and other times humorous, light stories–but most of the stories she writes revolve around relationships and characters finding their way through life. While she doesn’t confine herself to just one genre, nor is there a nice neat label for what she writes, most of her work could be called erotic romance.
She lives in Colorado with her husband and four children.
