Cory and Alexis’s journey is a wild ride for sure. Cory is the hot doctor that wants a new start. He is not worried what people will think of his decisions. His love of his daughter (Riki) is above all the sweetest of sweet. She has this bounciness about her that will make you fall in love with her at first read. Alexis is the pretty photographer with a scarred heart. She knows deep within herself that she needs to see beyond the hurt and live for today and not worry about what tomorrow brings.
The love at first sight for Cory and Alexis is a hard one for either to digest but what is ahead for them both is a path that neither saw coming. Or did they? Can the three combine to be one make an everlasting family or will a wrench of feelings come from within to throw them all off the path that compromise or be the everlasting of flavors to bring them to the brink of happiness within each?
To the readers: This author will have your feelings in an uproar. A screaming towel is a necessity that will having you tearing it apart at times and wanting to sew it back together at the same time. You will want to cheer for Riki and Cory to make Alexis’s heart soar in ways that none thought possible but when you think all is lost the author will have you turning your head around again. The sex between Cory and Alexis is hotter than a pancake on a griddle in the winter and a cool down at times with ice-cubes will be a must. 4 stars
