Dallas
He was the beginning of my heart . . . and the end of it.
I was only fifteen years old when he claimed it and twenty when he took it with him.
They say what is meant to be will find a way. But when you have changed to the point of no return, how can anything ever be the same?
Seven years later, Dean Martin waltzed back into my life in hopes of resuming what I had fought so hard to forget, but he was in for a wake-up call.
I was no longer the naïve woman he had left . . . and I was no longer his.
I met the love of my life and my soul mate when I was fifteen. I knew that; he knew that. He wanted that girl back. I wanted to forget she ever existed.
Dean
What I thought was my pre-destined path was very much an illusion. Living seven years with regret, I realized too late that I was broken, and that I only had myself to blame.
I thought love could wait . . . but it didn’t.
We’d had it all those years ago, and then I foolishly left it behind.
She was all that mattered. She was all there ever was.
There was no life without Dallas, no reason . . . except her.
No matter how hard she tried to convince me, I knew I had to once again make her mine, to make her remember . . . the fall.

After years spent harboring a shameful secret, I finally felt…alive, reawakened
Willing to break down my walls and let love in. Let him in.
We had conquered our pasts. The truth had set us free, and we were looking toward our future.
Until a crazy twist of fate brought my worst nightmare back into my life.
The voice and soundtrack to every one of my haunting dreams now had a face. One he won’t
easily let me forget.
The hits Ben endured on the football field will be nothing compared to the devastating blow his
heart will take if he finds out the whole truth. He knows the story, but he doesn’t know the
monster. Not like I do.
Just as the wounds of my past had begun to heal, he’s come back to rip them wide open.
Maybe some things are better kept from those we love.
Maybe some secrets are never meant to be told.
Maybe it’s better to Say Nothing….

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Michelle Lynn and with Seeing You she has once again done what she does best: given us a completely swoon-worthy hero that you can’t help but love.
I liked Todd from the very beginning of this book. Our first experience with him is when he’s helping out his friend and neighbor Lia after she gets some bad news. We learn fairly quickly that they have a very close, unique relationship. Not only are they friends and neighbors, but Todd models for her as well. Lia is an aspiring photographer, and Todd is her #1 subject, much to the delight of her boss, Bette, and the rich housewives that frequent the art gallery that she works at.
Todd is a rising chef waiting on his big break and wants nothing more than to open his own restaurant. Todd feels that one of the main things holding him back from the exposure that he needs is his boss Davis’s control over the kitchen; Todd is never given the opportunity to showcase any of his own recipes. In order to get more of his own recipes served, he comes up with a plan to distract Davis and he just hopes Lia will go along with it. With Lia’s agreement, Todd’s plan is put into place, but as Davis and Lia start spending time together and start growing closer, Todd begins to question his plan. Watching them together causes him to realize that his feelings for Lia go beyond friendship, but a painful past causes Todd to question if he should act on it. He fears putting himself out there, only to be rejected. When the opportunity to show Lia that he wants more presents itself, will he put those fears aside? Or will he realize that he may already be too late?
Michelle did an amazing job of writing a tender, heartfelt story that keeps you drawn in from beginning to end. Seeing You is an amazing, tender read that you don’t want to miss out on.
