Author: Amanda Maxlyn

The heartwarming conclusion to What’s Left of Me.
Love found me three years ago.
I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.
Our life is complete. Perfect, really.
Or is it?
I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.
But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?
Together we must learn What’s Left of Us.

I loved What’s Left of Me, and was so excited for What’s Left of Us.  Amanda Maxlyn did not disappoint.  This book was absolutely amazing.  It grabs you from the first line and keeps you enthralled until the very end.

The continuation of Parker and Aundrea’s story is highly emotional.  As we read in What’s Left of Me, Aundrea has beat cancer, but has a heart condition as a result of the chemo.  Her recovery and heart condition are the topic of many major conversations throughout this book.

I loved Parker and Aundrea even more in this book than I did in What’s Left of Me.  Parker was amazing before, and one of the most swoon-worthy characters I’ve ever read, but he really melted my heart in What’s Left of Us.  His love for Aundrea is palpable.  He loves her with everything that he is, and wants her to have all that life has to offer.  He makes sure that she gets the opportunity to experience things that she was robbed of earlier in life because of cancer and her treatments.  Words just cannot do him justice.

Aundrea tries to not let fears of dying effect her future with Parker, but those fears are constantly in the back of her mind.  Parker tries to reassure her that they are ready for a family, but Andrea is hesitant.  Seeing what this couple will have to go through in order to have a family is an emotional journey.  Even with everything that they will have to face, they won’t let anything stand in their way of making this dream come true.  Things are going well, and then tragedy strikes, which causes hidden fears to come to the forefront of everyone’s minds. It seems that things are finally going well again, and then they are faced with yet another possible tragedy.  It leaves you wondering, will Parker and Aundrea get their happily ever after?  If not, how much can they take before one or both of them breaks?

This emotional conclusion to Parker and Aundrea’s story is a must-read.  5 well deserved stars.

Life works in mysterious ways.

Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

I am the mother of two little boys, married to the love of my life, and living in one of the smallest towns in Minnesota. When I’m not chasing or cleaning up after my boys (yes, all three), I can be found writing or snuggled up with my kindle, a glass of wine, and spending time with my fictional friends and family.

I am first and foremost an avid reader! I love to read anything romance from paranormal, young/new adult, contemporary, and even yes, (wide eyes) erotic/BDSM.
